I offer full-service website design and development from start to finish. I can be flexible as well. Some of my clients already have a designer but just need a web developer to create the site for them. I am happy to do either one of them or both.

Web development
Having a great looking website is just one piece of the puzzle. Your website needs to function and work properly across all devices, including mobile, tablets, laptops, and desktops. All of my websites are responsive, which means they will adapt to the size of the screen. No need to create a separate website or app just for mobile. You can test any of my websites by resizing the browser to see how they break down for different screen sizes.
WordPress
I specialize with WordPress website design and development. I’ve been working with WordPress for about 10 years now and find that it’s the best and fastest way to set up a website with CMS (Content Management System) capabilities. WordPress is free open source software that can be downloaded and installed on any web server. There are two different versions of WordPress which can be somewhat confusing as one is hosted (WordPress.com) and the other is self-hosted (WordPress.org). I use WordPress.org version for custom websites that can be hosted on any server.
e-commerce
I work with several different e-commerce software platforms including Woocommmerce, Magento, and BigCommerce. Each platform has it’s own pros and cons depending on business needs and goals. Woocommerce is a great plugin for existing WordPress websites that don’t need a full e-commerce system. Magento Community Edition is a great open source platform for companies seeking a more flexible e-commerce focused website. For businesses that need a more feature rich platform, BigCommerce’s SaaS pricing structure is the way to go.
